NYX 9 Color Custom Eyeshadows - Pinks

I'm really loving these 9 color customizable eyeshadow palettes from NYX. You basically get an empty palette and then fill them up with whatever color you like. NYX is one of those brands that offers eyeshadows in regular packaging and as refills. The refills are cheaper than the regular packaging and I personally think are better. You can put all colors in one and they are great for carrying around with you too.

I got 9 colors in mainly pink shades, with some blacks too. The colors I got were - Starstruck (Pearly mauve pink), Pink Cloud (Iridescent light pink), Gumdrop (Pink with silver glitter), Burlesque (Iridescent dark purple), Wild Orchid (Iridescent fuchsia), Pink Lady (Iridescent dark pink), Raven (Matte black), Smoke And Mirrors (Pearly charcoal) and Dressed To Kill (Pearly Slate).

The NYX Hot Singles are quite good pigment wise. They build up nicely and blend easily too. I liked to wear the pale pink colors as bases and then apply and blend the darker colors on top. I much prefer it when makeup brands allow you to customize a palette. All of the colors look a lot nicer together and it's a lot easier to work out what look you are doing if all of the colors are together in one palette. These ones stay on all day and don't crease either.
